Payment services
Card payments and host payouts are processed by Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. (Dublin, Ireland), a licensed payment institution. SemesterStay does not hold client money; the deposit is paid directly between student and host.
Consumer disputes
Consumers in the EU can use the platform's dispute process (see Terms, section 8) and, for out-of-court settlement, the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (ČOI, coi.cz) or the EU online dispute resolution platform (ec.europa.eu/odr).
